Connecting a Library or List

Click Connect content on the Graphwise for SharePoint Administration in the Graphwise for SharePoint wizard.

Select the site (a) containing the document library or list you want to auto-tag. Click the Next (b) button to confirm.

Choose the library or list (c) containing the content that you want to auto-tag. Click on Next (d) to proceed.

Select the fields (e) of the document library or the list with the content you want to auto-tag. Confirm your selection with Next (f).

Select a Graph Modeling taxonomy (project) (g) to use when auto-tagging the content.

Select the language of the content (h). Specify the desired language in the selected taxonomy. To store all tags in a single Graphwise for SharePoint field, enter a name for the new field in the document library or list (i).

To store tags in separate Graphwise for SharePoint fields based on their concept scheme, select Enable concept schemes to continue with the configuration on the newly opened pane (j). Otherwise continue with Next (k).

Activate Enable automatic auto-tagging (l) if you want Graphwise for SharePoint to automatically auto-tag items added to your document library or list at a later time. Existing items will not be automatically auto-tagged.

Specify the minimum tag score (m); a higher score results in fewer, more relevant tags. Then set the maximum number of tags per item (n).

You can optionally use Advanced configuration (o) to adjust specific tagging settings.

Select Connect to taxonomy (p) to complete the procedure, or select Back to review or adjust your settings.

Select Enable concept schemes on the Select a taxonomy page to specify your desired concept scheme settings.

To create a new SharePoint field and populate it with concepts from a particular Graph Modeling concept scheme, select Add concept scheme (I) to enable selection (II).

Enter a name in the Tags field name field (III). This field stores tags from the selected concept scheme and is added to the document library or list.

Use the Concept scheme pulldown (IV) to view available concept schemes.

Repeat steps 1 and 2 to add as many concept schemes as desired. Each concept scheme can only be selected once.

Select a corpus to be used for Corpus Scoring (I). If you select a corpus, scoring will take the extracted terms' relevance scores into account. This is useful for short documents where term frequencies are low and the scoring based on the document alone does not provide satisfactory results.

Select Disambiguation (II) to enable the system to use the thesaurus and local context to resolve potential ambiguities.

Select Filter nested concepts (III) to exclude nested concepts from extraction. A nested concept occurs within another concept in a document.

Select Managed Metadata connection (IV) to tag your content with a Term Store taxonomy and store the tags in the SharePoint-native metadata columns (Managed Metadata fields).

Click Save (V).

Select a Term group (A.) containing the term set to be used for tagging.

Select the Term set (B.) to use for tagging. The term sets you select must belong to the term group you specified in the Term group field.

If you enabled concept schemes, select the name of the Graphwise for SharePoint tag field for the Concept scheme (C.) which is the equivalent to the term set you selected in the second step.

Enter a name for the new Managed Metadata field (D.) to store tags from this term set. This field is then added to the document library or list.

To tag content with multiple term sets, click Add connection (E1) and repeat steps 1 to 4 or select Generate connections (E2.) to connect all term sets in the selected term group. Then enter a name for the new Managed Metadata field.
