System Requirements
13/01/2026
From PoolParty 10.0 the traditional installer packages are replaced by containerized distributions. All components are shipped as OCI-compliant images and can be deployed using Docker Compose or Kubernetes Helm charts which are platform agnostic.
The current PoolParty version requires OpenJDK 21.
You can check your Java version by typing the following command in a console:
java -version
The current PoolParty version ships with Elasticsearch version 8.18.1
Warning
If you want to use the Relevance Scoring feature and you are migrating from PoolParty 10.0 or lower, you have to ensure that you update the Elasticsearch indices by running $URL/PoolParty/!/migrate/upgrade where you will trigger the re-indexing. Wait until re-indexing has been successfully completed without any errors before continuing in the Migration Wizard. This is necessary to be able to use the Relevance Scoring feature. This Migration Wizard is included in the PoolParty delivery.
Important
Before updating the index you have to create a full backup (snapshot) in order to be able to roll back if required.
The current PoolParty version ships with Keycloak 25.0.6
Important
Since the database originally coming with Keycloak is not intended for productive deployment it is necessary to change over to an external DB (PostgreSQL)
To be able to use Keycloak in productive environments PostgreSQL should be used as the external Keycloak DB.
The current PoolParty version ships with Apache Spark 4.0.0.
