Connectors 1.0 (incl. GW4M365 9.5) Release Notes

These release notes cover new features, improvements and relevant bug and security fixes for Connectors 1.0 including Graphwise for Microsoft 365 (GW4M365).

Connectors 1.0 is a foundational release. The backend has been rebuilt from the ground up to make automated tagging accurate, predictable, and scalable across SharePoint environments.

Graphwise for Microsoft 365 9.5 is fully compatible with PoolParty 9.5, 9.6, 9.7 and 10.0.

The Copilot Agent for Microsoft Teams deployment, powered by enhanced Graphwise for Power Platform custom connectors. This integration brings PoolParty's semantic capabilities directly into your Teams environment, streamlining knowledge management workflows
AWS Lambda function integration establishes a reliable communication bridge between PoolParty server and SharePoint Online, enhancing data synchronization and processing efficiency.
Smarter Delta Tagging: Tagging now responds to change. The system evaluates what has changed within a document and reruns tagging logic against updated content during regular processing cycles. The result is metadata that stays accurate over time without manual intervention and without generating duplicate, outdated, or conflicting tags.
Respect for Manual Tags: Automation should support human decisions, not override them. A new configuration option determines whether delta tagging runs when manual tags are present, giving administrators clear control over the boundary between automated and curated metadata.
Simplified Architecture: The backend has been fully streamlined. Deployments are faster, upgrades are cleaner, and behavior is consistent across environments and content volumes. This is the foundation we are building on.

A bug impeding auto-tagging functionality on site pages has been remedied.
Resolved an issue where tag search within the manual tagging dialog failed to return results in some cases.
Fixed semantic search returning incorrect results when using Farm as scope option.
Resolved issues with the custom connector sometimes failing to retrieve tags from URL-based documents.
Improved the adaptive card behavior in Teams to better retrieve connected PoolParty taxonomies and associated project identifiers.
Semantic search works as intended by addressing some changes implemented by Microsoft.
A bug generally preventing tagging through URLs has been resolved, also in cases when such are behind authentication.
