How to Refine Automatically Extracted Tags
15/06/2026
When an item is auto-tagged, tags that do not meet the minimum score threshold configured in the Graphwise for SharePoint Administration application are automatically marked as unwanted and shown in gray.
Unwanted tags are stored with the item but are not used when searching in the Graphwise for SharePoint search. To auto-mark an extracted tag as unwanted or reactivate an unwanted tag, do the following:
![]() |
Navigate to the Manage tags dialog box. For more information on the procedure, refer to How to View All Tags. If the content has been tagged using multiple taxonomies or concept schemes, select the connection for which you want to refine tags.
Click on an automatically extracted tag to change its status.
Note
Automatically extracted tags are shown in blue (if they meet the minimum tag score and have not been marked as unwanted) or gray (if they do not meet the minimum tag score or have been marked as unwanted).
The tag color changes correspondingly.
Confirm your changes with Save.
