Connectors 1.1 Release Notes

Following the launch of Connectors 1.0, which introduced automated delta tagging and a sustainable metadata lifecycle for SharePoint, this release adds more flexibility for content teams, improves synchronization performance, and refines the user experience for manual sync workflows. This release makes Connectors more flexible, faster, and easier to use.

While Connectors 1.0 established the foundation for keeping SharePoint metadata accurate, current, and aligned with evolving content, Connectors 1.1.0 builds on that foundation by giving users more control over when content is retagged while continuing to support scalable automation.

The introduction of on-demand retagging gives users more control over metadata refreshes, especially in scenarios where relying only on automated delta tagging is not enough. The new Extractor improves sync performance, while the taxonomy tree fix enhances usability for teams working directly with structured vocabularies. These improvements introduced in Connectors 1.1 follow the underlying objective of helping organizations keep SharePoint metadata accurate, governed, and AI-ready across the full content lifecycle.

Graphwise for Microsoft 365 9.5 is fully compatible with Graph Modeling 9.5, 9.6, 9.7, 10.0, 10.1 and 10.2.

Retag All: On-Demand Tagging for Libraries & Documents

Users can now trigger tagging on demand, either for an entire SharePoint document library or for selected individual documents. This increases flexibility when metadata needs to be refreshed outside the regular delta tagging cycle. For example, users can now retag content after a taxonomy update, a bulk content migration, or a major document revision. With this enhancement, teams are no longer limited to scheduled delta tagging alone. They can choose the right tagging approach for the situation:

We resolved a cosmetic issue in the manual sync interface where the taxonomy tree view displayed all concepts at the same indentation level, regardless of their hierarchy. Previously, parent and child concepts appeared visually similar, making it difficult to understand the taxonomy structure at a glance. Expand and collapse controls were visible, but the nesting depth was not clearly represented. With this fix, the taxonomy tree now more accurately reflects hierarchical relationships, making it easier for users to navigate and understand taxonomy structures during manual sync activities.
