Entity Extractor API
04/05/2026
Using the Graphwise Extractor you can analyze documents in an automated fashion, extract meaningful phrases, named entities, categories or other metadata.
You can map different data or metadata schemes to a SKOS thesaurus that is used as a unified semantic knowledge model. The Entity Extractor Architecture is implemented as a pipeline of annotation engines, where each specific unit adds to the final result.
In this section we provide an overview of the most important Graphwise Extractor API services.
For more details check the comprehensive documentation on your Graphwise Extractor installation that can be found at the main URL of your Graphwise Extractor installation, for example:
http://<your server>/extractor/
The API endpoint can be accessed via basic authentication by any user created in Graph Modeling. Users will only be able to access projects they have access rights for. You can also setup users that are only allowed to access the API.
Note
The Graphwise (formerly PoolParty) API is versioned after the same pattern Graphwise itself is. Thus, version 8 of PoolParty corresponds to version 8 of the APIs.
