GraphRAG 1.3.0
The Components service searches a vector store and retrieves the most semantically similar documents. It can also generate vector embeddings for a given text using a selected model. The following vector stores are supported:
Elasticsearch
OpenSearch
Amazon OpenSearch Serverless
This service can be invoked in two ways:
As a parallel step:
The RAG question is first rephrased using the conversation context, then passed to the service.
As an MCP tool:
The AI agent handles the rephrasing and the returned documents can be combined with data from other tools to produce a final answer.
