Graphwise for Adobe Experience Manager 1.0

This document provides an overview of the architecture and interaction between Graphwise and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). Graphwise serves as the source of truth for taxonomy, while AEM consumes the taxonomy as tags for content classification.

A successful taxonomy modification in Graph Modeling automatically triggers synchronization for the configured AEM environment and scope. Approved taxonomy additions, modifications and removals are synchronized without requiring a separate manual synchronization step.

The connector prevents duplicate processing of promotion events, ensures that only one synchronization job updates a scope at a time, retries temporary failures, and allows failed jobs to be restarted without repeating the taxonomy promotion. It also validates environment mappings to prevent updates from being applied to the wrong AEM environment and records detailed audit information, including job status, affected scope, start and end times, item counts and errors.
