28/07/2026
This section provides instructions on how to publish and deploy the GW4Copilot agent to Microsoft Teams, enabling users to access and interact with the agent.
After completing all topics and components, you can publish the agent by doing the following:
In Copilot Studio, select the agent you want to publish.
Select Publish in the upper-right corner of the interface.
Choose to select Force newest version to ensure users are interacting with the latest published version. If you choose not to, users will still receive the latest version but not immediately in an ongoing Teams conversation.
After the agent is published, open the Channels page.
Select Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams and then Add channel to add the Microsoft Teams channel to the agent.
After publishing the agent, configure the deployment settings and choose how the app will be distributed within the organization by doing the following:
Note
After publishing, it can take up to four hours to become visible in Microsoft Teams. We recommend that users log out and log back in to verify that the app is visible.
Select Availability options in the side panel to access the deployment settings for the app.
Select Show to everyone in my org, this option opens the submission panel for the Microsoft Teams approval process.
Select Submit for admin approval to submit the app for review.
Administrators can located the GW4CoPilot app by using the filter in the upper-right corner of the Manage apps page.
Select the GW4CoPilot app to open its Details page.
Select Publish to make the GW4Copilot app available to users across the organization.
Once the GW4CoPilot app is available, users can select Open to start a conversation with the agent.
