If you have previously managed your taxonomies in Term Store, it also supports you with an initial import to Graph Modeling.

Use the Sync with Term Store option in the Graphwise for SharePoint Administration application, specifying the term group name. If you have already synchronized a taxonomy before, use the Update option.

The duration depends on the size of your taxonomy. You can leave the app while it runs or follow the progress on the Synchronization results tab (select Refresh to see the progress).
