Deploying M365 Connectors via Automation Script

This section explains how to deploy M365 Connectors using the automation script deployment method and how to deploy the Graphwise platform using Terraform. Expand each section to view the detailed deployment instructions.

To deploy the M365 Connector you must first perform the following steps:

Extract the automation script locally on disk.
Place the sppkg files at the top of the automation folder.
Run the automation script via the following command:

.\Automation.ps1 -Prefix <prefix> -WebUrl https://<tenant>.sharepoint.com/sites/<Site Name> -Tenant <tenant>.onmicrosoft.com -BaseUrl <gwp-deployment-url>
```
2. Replace the following placeholders with your own values:
  - <prefix>: A label that helps identify the Azure resources that are created.
  - <tenant>: The SharePoint tenant.
  - <baseURL>: The base URL location of the GWP deployment.
    Note
    At this stage, only the URL is required to be known, the actual GWP deployment occurs after this step.
  - <SiteName>: The name of the SharePoint site.

The following deployment process creates the required Azure resources and configures the SharePoint M365 Connector for the target site.

Note

You may be prompted during deployment to sign in to Azure and SharePoint several times.

Review the output.txt file created in the root of the automation folder after deployment completes. Use the properties in this file when deploying the platform with Terraform.
Navigate to the SharePoint Admin page after deployment completes successfully.
On the Admin page select the Edit icon.
Select the Graphwise for SharePoint web part then edit the web part properties.
Select Synchronize Configuration.
Select Publish changes.
