GW4Copilot is a Microsoft copilot agent built in the Microsoft Copilot Studio application. You can access this application at https://www.copilotstudio.com.

When published, the agent is deployed to the cloud and made available through channels. Channels can include dedicated web applications, Teams as a custom-built Teams application, and Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat. Users can then interact with the agent in their preferred environment using natural language and guided flows designed by the agent developer. Republish the agent after adding a channel or making changes to its metadata, topics, or configuration.

This section introduces the Copilot agent and explains the purpose of its main components.

GW4Copilot agent consists of the following main components:

Agent: Contains the configuration and metadata required for the agent to operate and encompasses all other components.
Topics: Conversation flows that guide the user interactions and perform background tasks, such as condition handling and invocation of Power Automate flows. Topics include custom topics and system topics, which handle predefined events and scenarios.
Power Automate flows: Required for advanced data processing and integration with external systems, such as the Graph Modeling server and SharePoint document storage.
Custom connectors: Web service connection definitions that enable Power Automate flows to connect to SharePoint and Graph Modeling through custom Azure functions.
